ResilientCE Part of Team that Secured $1.3 million MassWorks Grant for Water Main Improvements

Resilient Civil Engineering, P.C. (ResilientCE) is part of a team that helped the North Sagamore Water District (NSWD) secure a $1.3 million MassWorks Infrastructure Grant for water main replacement. The NSWD is a public water supplier serving approximately 4,600 customers residing in the Town of Bourne and a small portion of the Town of Sandwich. The water main replacement project is required to provide potable and fire protection water supply to the Cape View Way affordable housing community currently under development in the Town of Bourne. The work includes replacement of about 2,815 feet of water main along Meetinghouse Lane, Scusset Beach Road and Williston Road.

ResilientCE is providing design and construction phase engineering services for the completion of this project. ResilientCE also assisted in completion of the successful MassWorks grant application. The MassWorks Infrastructure Program is a competitive grant program that provides the largest and most flexible source of capital funds to municipalities and eligible public entities for public infrastructure projects that support and accelerate housing production, spur private development and create jobs throughout Massachusetts.
